At Ahern, we continue to create and participate in initiatives that allow growers to directly observe how different varieties perform and make decisions based on information gathered under the actual conditions of each region.
As part of this commitment, we participated in two events dedicated to hot peppers, held in Progreso de Juárez, Puebla, and Rincón de Romos, Aguascalientes. Both events brought together producers, specialists, partners, and allies interested in sharing knowledge and exploring alternatives to address the current challenges facing the crop.
In Progreso de Juárez, we participated in a Hot Chili Pepper Field Day, where attendees observed the performance of different varieties and shared experiences regarding their production needs. During the event, we presented varieties such as Infante, Navolato, and Mixteco—options designed to meet the specific conditions and goals of each grower.
We also held another Hot Chili Demonstration Day in RincĂłn de Romos. The event provided an opportunity to observe the characteristics of different varieties up close, exchange recommendations, and continue building relationships with those who promote horticulture in Aguascalientes.
These meetings provide an opportunity to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and growers’ experience. Observing the materials directly in the field allows for more meaningful conversations, helps identify opportunities, and supports decision-making in each production area.
