Chile Purepecha is a jalapeño bell pepper of excellent quality and uniformity, with high yield potential and wide adaptation in the main producing areas of Mexico for the fresh market. It stands out for its excellent crop concentration and for maintaining consistent quality throughout the production cycle.
Its medium-sized plant has a strong root system that favors good leaf coverage, health and excellent fruit set. In addition, it has an outstanding productive concentration and a wide adaptation to different growing conditions.
Purepecha Chile produces elongated fruits of 3.5 to 4 inches, with broad, heavy shoulders, thick walls, slight corking and good firmness. It also offers good pungency, excellent shelf life, little cracking and maintains uniformity in size and shape down to the tips.
